Shutter Productions is a 26,000 square foot facility that boasts state of the art technology in shutter manufacturing. The facility includes a in six head inline paint machine capable of coating three hundred lineal feet of components per minute; a six head sanding/texturing machine capable of sanding 150 lineal feet of components per minute; and three topcoat booths with dedicated trolley systems, and one main trolley line for fast, damage-free movement of product. Our cut/assembly processes is completely streamlined allowing us to average an eight-business day delivery time on “ready to finish shutters” for one local customer.
We have dramatically increased the amount of product that we ship to our customers and have improved our processes in how we package and ship. Every shipment is palletized, which in one year alone has dropped the damaged products from 8% to .5%!
We are not afraid to try new methods, equipment, and to “think outside the box.” In production, volume is important, but without quality, volume means nothing.
